Shiv Alkapuri
Status: Completed
Shiv Alkapuri was aimed to be different than the old showroom to display kitchens and kitchen hardware products. We chose to go rustic for this store and explored different materials and finishes keeping it warm yet playful. We followed an open layout to provide a clutter-free circulation and giving optimum visibility. The central area acted as space for discussions with clients in a very informative way whilst also allowing them to look at the display around.
The pockets created by structural members are tactfully treated, which is converted into design elements.
Seating designed in wood runs as a continuous member making levels.
A part of the façade of this store as seen from the outside.
A striking display in hot pink colour with mirror mosaic on the wall.
The reception table also follows the same design language, with a remarkable cantilevered table.
A chic kitchen design in grey and a hint of the maroon back-painted glass.
A partition with mirrors and indirect light.
Each section is designed to suit the products to be exhibited, giving every set-up a special character.
To create a holistic design, the flooring is also varied to suit the design. Seen here, a wooden floor to complement the ivory and brown kitchen.
